The Advent of DLC (Disc-Locked Content)?

Soon before the official release of Street Fighter x Tekken, it was revealed by some crafty crafty people that the upcoming 12 characters for the PSVita version of the game are actually on disc for both PS3 and Xbox 360 (even Mega Man and Pac-Man). Naturally, people hacked into their own early copy and found everything from character prologues, endings, costumes, voice work, and tons of other stuff that are still hidden away on disc and of course sparked outrage.

The first thing I want to address is that this actually isn’t new. The same thing happened for the original Street Fighter IV and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 with alternate costumes and Jill and Shuma-Gorath respectively. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending this issue, but according to Capcom’s PR, there is no officially defined terms of what DLC is.

Which sucks.

TY4P Update: Just to Prove I’m Still Alive

I am still alive folks, I’ve just been caught up with school projects that require me to write on a separate blog for one of my classes as well as a myriad (yep, I said “myriad”) of other projects. The most annoying project being fixing my computer. My trusty MacBook’s backlight has decided to stop working, so I sent it off, and am forced to use either school computers or my parents’.
